The Social Marginal

The Social Marginal is a place to express my over opinionated opinion of society and finance in general.  At times I may use it as a pulpit to just talk about things happening in my life, because sharing is good, so deal with it.  Overall though, I’d like to cover topics which mix finance with modern lifestyle.

A bit about myself; I work from home, support myself through IT consulting contracts in the Real Estate Development industry on the other side of the country as well as owning part of a Graphics Design firm (also on the other side of the country, and no, I’m not a graphic designer) and a Web Hosting Company while augmenting my income with investment income as well as a monthly paycheck from the US Army for past deeds.  I spend a good chunk of my day researching economics and finance, with bloomberg or the like in the background while working and reading… a lot.  I’m engaged to a wonderful woman that works for Big Pharma as a Chemist and we have two rescued Greyhounds that we love dearly.  That’s about all.  I’m not an expert of any sort on any topic really, just a regular overopinionated individual whom makes a point to try and always practice what I preach.
